#1 Topic for Individual Informative Speech

This is for the World Citizen speech, where you will choose to tell us about a city, country, region, etc., outside of the United States that you either have been to, or have at the top of your bucket list! Consult your syllabus for detailed project information and a list of topics that are OFF-LIMITS before submitting your choice. We can chat back and forth in here about it, so you will know if I approve. If you see a grade with your maximum amount of points, 10, you will know I have approved even if I made no comment.

#2 Group Rough Outline

This can be very rough, so don’t worry, and it is expected it might change. I’m hoping to see some progress to get an idea of the structure you are using, and an idea of who is completing which part of the work. Please show that in the outline. So, if a group member chooses a subtopic to cover, put their name next to that subtopic. An example outline that you can use for your own group is in your Course Documents/Groups folder.

#3 Group INDIVIDUAL Materials #1

This is where you will show me the evidence of your individual research as you work on your Group topic. You can attach entire articles or give me just the link to them. You can also upload pictures you are submitting for use in the Group PowerPoint. I need to see TWO proofs at this time, and I don’t really care which two you submit now, just don’t expect to submit them later in Materials #2.

#4 Group INDIVIDUAL Materials #2

This is where you will show me MORE (new or different) evidence of your individual research as you work on your Group topic. You can attach entire articles or give me just the link to them. You can also upload pictures you are submitting for use in the Group PowerPoint.

#5 Informative Speech

This is where you will attach the speech materials you are required to submit for your presentation. Please attach your Outline, Manuscript, Works Cited, and PowerPoint file here. This is also where you will see your grade for this assignment.

Cultivate patience–it takes a tremendous amount of time to upload video files, as they are often simply huge.

#6 Topic for Individual Persuasive Speech

This is where you type in your choice of topics for the Persuasive speech. Remember to consult the syllabus for project guidelines and the list of OFF-LIMITS topics before submitting.

#7 Persuasive Speech

This is where you will attach the speech materials you are required to submit for your presentation. Please attach your Outline, Works Cited, and PowerPoint file here. This is also where you will see your grade for this assignment.
